Annual Support and Maintenance Services

PYXIS has formulated an innovative new support and maintenance agreement service that will save the customer time and money whilst increasing operational reliability and decreasing problem resolution time. The service is suitable for small to medium sized customers that do not wish to manage their own systems or acquire additional personnel resources.

The service components that PYXIS offers include:

  • Preparation of sheets defining all actions required to perform a specific activity;
  • Preparation of a schedule for programmed maintenance activities;
  • Performance of scheduled maintenance activities;
  • Preparation of a System Configuration Register for software and data;
  • Maintenance of the System Configuration Register;
  • Update of documentation in HTML Help for system and user manuals;
  • Conversion of documentation into HTML Help;
  • Remote technical support;
  • On-Site technical support;
  • Pre-allocated consultancy advisory services;
  • Annual warranty on all work performed by PYXIS replaces limited individual contract warranties;
  • Emergency response service;
  • Preparation of customised training courses based on standard vendor courses (under agreement);
  • Delivery of training courses on site to users;
  • Interface to the vendor for complex technical issues;
  • Selection and evaluation of third party products;
  • Project and Contract management support;

Agreements are tailored to the customer's individual requirements.

The major cost saving and benefits to such a service agreement include:

  • The cost is agreed per annum and the budget can be determined and approved in advance;
  • Fixed price contracts performed by PYXIS no longer require documentation and warranty components;
  • Fixed price contracts performed by PYXIS are hence reduced in cost and time considerably;
  • Testing of simple projects can be minimised as the warranty support covers rectification;
  • Project turn around time is minimised;
  • Uniform standards and practices are applied to the system;
