SOMA Resources

The following pages contain resources in a number of formats. SOMA's primary suite is Microsoft Office 97 on the Windows platform (Win95, Win98, Win NT, Win2000 etc.).

A number of publications are available in ZIP format for speed of download. You will need WinZip or other software to read the files.

Tools You may Need

WinZip is a standard utility that compresses files into a ZIP archive. This is very important if you have a dial up modem and need to transfer medium size files. You can get WinZip from almost any computer magazine's CDROM (PC Authority, PC User etc..). The evaluation copy is free, and you can also download it from the WinZip download page.

Adobe PDF (portable document format) is another format used a lot, though SOMA doesn't encode any documents at present in this format. The viewer is free, and again can be found on almost any magazine's CDROM of from Adobe.
